Anna von Boetticher
Anna von Boetticher is a German freediver (apnea diver), author, and public speaker.
She is one of the best-known freedivers in Europe and has set several national and international records in the sport. In freediving, athletes dive underwater while holding their breath, without using scuba tanks. Anna started freediving relatively late but quickly became a successful athlete. She set multiple records in different freediving disciplines, including:
- Constant weight with monofin
- Depth disciplines
- Pool disciplines (distance underwater while holding breath)
During her dives she can reach depths of over 80 meters while holding her breath for several minutes.
