Dear friends of hernia surgery,
With great pleasure we are looking forward to the 4THSWISS HERNIA DAYS at the 20TH—21ST August 2020 in the CONGRESS CENTER BASEL, Switzerland. Since the Swiss Hernia Days started in 2017, this conference is now established in the agenda of Swiss surgical congress events. In 2019, almost 300 hernia experts and participants from Switzerland and foreign countries followed our invitation to Basel to get updated on current innovations and treatment concepts in hernia surgery.
The SWISS HERNIA DAYS are known for a unique and innovative congress concept. Therefore, in 2020 we will provide the 1ST SWISS HERNIA DAYS CADAVER WORKSHOP. The Cadaver Workshop will take place prior to the main congress at the 19TH August 2020 at the Pathological Institute of the University Basel and focusses on extraperitoneal minimally invasive techniques in ventral hernia repair.
After the cadaver workshop, the 4TH SWISS HERNIA DAYS are again deemed to be the ideal Swiss platform for professional exchange between national and international participants and hernia experts. Beside interactive discussions, the famous Championsleague, state-of-the-art lectures and live surgeries, a Swiss Hernia Days video prize will be awarded for the first time. And finally, we will prepare an interesting networking event, which will surprise you.
Again, congress registration is free for surgical trainees, residents and fellows.
The national and international value of the SWISS HERNIA DAYS is emphasized by the patronage of the Swiss Hernia Society (SAHC), Swiss Society for Visceral Surgery (SGVC), the Swiss-MIS collaboration (formally known as SALTC), the European Hernia Society (EHS) and the German Hernia Society (DHG).
We are inviting you to register for the 1ST SWISS HERNIA DAYS CADAVER WORKSHOP at the 19TH August 2020 and to participate in the 4TH SWISS HERNIA DAYS at the 20TH—21THAugust 2020 in Basel, Switzerland. Please consider, that registration for the Cadaver workshop is limited to 20 participants.
